An Avid Reader and Devoted Family Woman: In her free moments, Mom loves curling up with a good book. But her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family. Whether it's her 3 children, 5 grandchildren, or even her great-grandchildren, her love knows no bounds. Welcome to a world of handcrafted coziness and artistic expression! But before you explore the adorable collection, let's meet the maker behind it all: me, Arlene!

Following in Mom's Footsteps: My love for crafting began at a young knee, learning the art of crochet from my talented mother. Her passion for creating with yarn was truly contagious! While crocheting holds a special place in my heart, I've also ventured into the fascinating world of macrame and the sparkly realm of diamond dot art.

Music is My Muse: But my creative side extends beyond yarn and thread. I'm a proud graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a Master's in Education as a Music major. My love for music spills out through the melodies I create on the flute, oboe, and clarinet. The occasional piano piece rounds out my musical repertoire.

A Life Full of Creativity: When I'm not crafting or lost in the world of music, you might find me curled up with a captivating book, venturing outside to capture moments through photography, or simply enjoying the company of my loved ones. Speaking of loved ones, my life is enriched by my amazing 2 children and our furry menagerie of 5 fur babies. In fact, Neko, my majestic black panther cat, is the inspiration behind this entire website!
